Urban Grill offers top quality all day casual dining, cocktails, wines, beers and live music. The busy bar has live piano music on Fridays and Saturdays or why not come along to enjoy some jazz over a leisurely Sunday brunch.
The menu is based on classic dishes prepared using the freshest ingredients – locally sourced wherever possible. Signature dishes include Fish Soup with Prawn Dumplings, Urban Fish Cake with chilli spiced salsa, Classic Caesar Salad, Sticky Pork Ribs with Pickled Ginger, and for those with a sweet tooth – Banana, Coconut & Maple Syrup Cheesecake and Knickerbocker Glory.
There is also a wide choice of affordable wines with a 10 available by the glass, classic Urban Cocktails, leading spirit brands and international beers.
Designed to bring some ‘Urban’ chic to the rapidly growing South Side of the city, Urban Grill offers a unique atmosphere with a large, airy restaurant and bar which has seating for up to 120 and is also available for private functions.
Since opening in late 2005, Urban Grill was last year voted the best new Scottish restaurant in a survey of 90,000 independent reviewers carried out by Remy Martin. Other awards received include “Most Promising New Restaurant / Bar” in the Dram Scottish Licensed Trade Awards and The List magazine’s Glasgow Newcomer of the Year Award for 2006.
